shameless endorsing: unwarranted delights @ 06:48
Today is a lovely day to be certainly generous and giving. What with all the recent issues that are happening here the in the PH (Pork Barrel scam, Typhoon Maring, Ninoy Aquino day, etc) I decided to take a trip down memory lane and it occurred to me that hey, I have a blog to update! And here I am, doing one of my silly and shameless endorsing. If you have previously read my posts, I am a person who believes in karma out of all things. That whatever good I do to one person, eventually will return to me someday.
Now, as aforementioned, I am here to endorse one of my friends: Ingrid Valeriano. She is my schoolmate, batch mate, classmate, and
ka-kada (which basically means, we belong in a circle of friends). Ingrid is a hyper, food-loving, artists, and talker with a fiery spite of everything that she does. She sounds cool right? Well maybe if you check her blog, you'll get to know her and her culinary faux pas a little better.
'Course you won't see much (because she just started anew, and our other friend, Danica is helping out with her layout and fancy editing), but I assure you will be seeing much more in the future.
So as mention before, I told you that Ingrid is a food-loving person. I can fully admit that, yes. She absolutely loves all things food-related, and she loves cooking and culinary arts as well. The thing with her is that she never misses a chance to grab an exotic restaurant and just
eat there y'know? That's our Ingrid, hehe. (By the way, I do wonder if she's reading this.)
Another is that she's an artist, she can draw really cool stuff. Stuff that I can never do in my whole life. I just never had a talent for drawing or sketching or painting, so sad.
And she's a really cool person, really full of spite and energy. She is so hyper all the time that it is so funny, and that is a compliment. Her blog reflects all those things, so basically her blog is her. Do you get what I mean? So as I've said before, if you watch out for her blog, you'll get to know each and every part of her cool life (just like what you're doing with mine, but mine is a little bit boring haha.)
Ingrid Valeriano: Unwarranted Delights
Twitter
By the way, I've been receiving secret messages (yes I can see you) that you want to be shamelessly advertised too. It's okay, you can
e-mail me. I won't bite.

muscle shirts @ 00:53
So I found this outfit-of-the-day posts actually a lot of fun. You get to play with the camera, pose like some kind of rejected Vogue model, and have fun with it. So then, I grabbed my camera at decided to do an outfit of the day post kind of thing.
Background: School is starting in a few weeks (accurately two weeks) and of course, that means we had to do our last minute school-supplies shopping. We went to SM Makati, near Glorietta and just a few walks from Greenbelt, and did our shopping there. Afterwards, we went to The Spaghetti Factory and had our lunch there. Absolutely delicious. I loved their pizza and risotto.
Anyways, so I chose this outfit today because I love, love, love this shirt so very much. Not just because of it's print, but it was completely altered by yours truly. I had a few troubles with the scissors and the measurements, but it was all worth it because it turned out pretty awesome. I had fun wearing it as much as I had fun making this OOTD.
So, typically, I wore the muscle shirt with skinny jeans because it just fits well with it, and lastly topping it off with my favorite and only pair of Vans (sorry, I'm so very broke). Not much accessories, just my lucky watch and one of my many ponytails.
Not edited much, but here's the outfit from top to the bottom (sort of).
Side view. I like this shot. I look like I'm contemplating really hard.
Peace sign yo. Full view of the outfit, you can't see my face though.
(I don't like this picture very much, now stop looking at it. Ha.)
I don't know about you guys, but the outfit was actually fun, slightly tomboyish, and very, very simple. What do you think?

thank you @ 06:02
K.I.D.S.
Kind Imaginations. Destructive Situations.
I know what you're thinking, what the hell does that mean?
Well first of all, it's not a quote nor a silly saying. It's a band; a boy band of three talented Australians. Mitchel Cave (@MitchelCave), Clinton Cave (@ClintonCave), and Christian Anthony (@ChristianAntho) are, as I mentioned above, are three talented Australian boys that created this amazing boy group. K.I.D.S.: Kind Imaginations. Destructive Situations. It's a pretty amazing group name, really creative and really meaningful. I love the fact that it also spells out, KIDS; it just adds more meaning to the whole phrase.
Enough talk, I want to show you their video. It's their music video cover of Thank You by MKTO. Absolutely amazing. I was absolutely speechless when I first heard it.
And you know what else is amazing? The very fact that @MitchelCave and @ClintonCave followed me on Twitter! (Cue the squealing and the cheering and the fan girl-ing.) I know it's so atypical of a person to do that but they're one of my fave singers ever. I knew them way before they became KIDS (but I couldn't take all the credit, @ManthonyFrvr was the one who introduced me to them). Now two-thirds of KIDS are following me! I cannot wait for the day @ChristianAntho follows me.
Anyways, I'll stop talking and get on with this amazing video.
Don't you just love the fact that they're so down-to-earth looking and handsome at the same time? Ha, anyways, I love them so much. Please support them because they're just starting anew. You're gonna love them, they're awesome guys!
Follow them on Twitter!
We are the ones, the ones you left behind.
Don't tell us how, tell us how to live our lives.
Ten million strong, we're breaking all the rules!
Thank you for nothing, 'cuz there's nothing left to lose.

shameless endorsing: peculiar thoughts @ 19:21
So basically I have been one to endorse most of my friends' blogs, Instagrams, twitters and such because somehow I always thought that doing good for them would probably do good for me too. And now here I am, doing the same thing because hopefully I would probably get the same karma. Recently, I have not been getting any good karma because karma is number one, a bitch. And number two, karma takes a lot of time. I may be a little selfish but being selfish is good too sometimes, right? And I sigh because if I become selfish, it might counteract my karma.
Anyway, I'll shut up about karma and get on with it.
Peculiar Thoughts is my friend's blog. She writes about fashion and her travels with it. She's a beginner so be nice (unless your me because that totally gives you an excuse to not be nice, ha, just kidding). And she's not much of a blogger too so, of course give her a break. That's when I come in (the writer with no pay but with absolute talent--again, just kidding) the editor, and the amazing manager of this blog. I mostly edit, plan the photo shoots and location, hire the photographer, give ideas, and organize most of the things. So basically I do a lot of stuff for the blog. But we're not talking about me here, we're talking about her blog (@mariellaoctavo).
Peculiar Thoughts is of course, what I said earlier, a fashion blog and somehow a travel blog. Mostly a fashion blog, she just writes about her travels with it. I appreciate it if you give us criticisms because criticism is good. And I would also like if you give it a try. Read it and like it (but I'm not opposed to your opinion) and maybe you'll grow attached to it like I did. It needs a lot of work, maybe some kinks to be fixed, but it's growing one way or another. So if we had more and more followers and watchers, maybe it'll become bigger.
Alright, so that's most of them. I'm sure at least some of you are interested in visiting, go ahead. I'm not stopping you. I'm, in fact, asking you dearly to do so. Just visit and maybe you'll like it. If you're a person with unique style and absolute hunger for fashion and movement, I assure you, you won't be disappointed. Have fun.

noriter cafe @ 01:22
Located in between buildings and within a nearly fading structure, is a quaint little cafe called, Noriter. My friend Mariella (@mariellaoctavo) and I decided we have our lunch there for the sake of protruding memories. It was a cafe that we both knew by heart and decided to pay it a little visit.
We had the very famous and expensive (P130) Banana Split and excuse the pun,
split the payment in order to be a little cost-saving. It was small and adorable (like the cafe itself), but it was delicious and satisfying. The split banana was topped with chocolate and vanilla ice cream, decorated with chocolate syrup and nuts. I'll leave you to your imagination to what it tasted like.
The sweet little cafe was made originally for couples, but I guess with the carefree vibe and the relaxing atmosphere, it could also be open to friends and family alike. The cafe is divided into the "bottom area" and the "top area". I would recommend the top area, because it has absolutely no chairs and just two round tables. It's also more spacious because you can lay on the floor and just chill out.
Mariella (@mariellaoctavo) arriving with our drinks.
The atmosphere is just so playful and carefree. Let me give you just a few details about the place. The word noriter actually means playground in Korean. So you can definitely feel the air of playfulness within the restaurant. It's cute and an expression of freedom; restaurant-style. As you can see from the picture, you can write on the walls. They won't mind at all. It's part of your freedom of expression.
That's actually one of the things I wrote (and some more, but I didn't have anymore time to take a picture of every single on of them). B2014 is actually my batch, and yes, from what you read above, I do love every single on of them. I've been with them since my Prep years and I couldn't bear to part with them. I only realized this during the summer, now that I'm enrolling as a Senior.
Another best-friend pair next to our area, you can see that they're also vandalizing the place.
So some are actually better at creating graffiti than most, these guys decided to this underneath the table. The most unsuspecting place to write your thoughts actually.
More pictures of the restaurant, I apologize for the bad quality. My phone was clearly not agreeing with my at that time.
More graffiti because vandalizing is fun (but you can only do this at Noriter).
They have been compared with Starbucks because they also are a cafe just like Starbucks, but then again Starbucks is Starbucks and Noriter is a playground. So I don't really understand why you should compare the two when they're obviously different.
Noriter has a variety of drinks, most of these drinks are coffee. Then you have the remaining which are shakes, desserts, sandwiches, and such. You can visit the store yourself.
The view from outside, nice huh?
What do you think about the restaurant? I think I liked it and it's a definite must-visit if you're a teen or have a special someone in your life because of course it was created for couples. But you can bring your friends over too. Noriter means playground (take careful note of that) and it's a place to play, relax, and have fun. We all need a chill pill once in a while.
Have fun!

I'm on a roll today, posting three blog posts in one day. I feel extremely and utterly productive today, so I decided to make one last post before I retire.
You all have heard of Instagram right? That hipster app for Apple users with studded iPhones and such? Well, I have that. And to be honest, and biased, I am not one of those hipsters. I don't have an iPhone, but I do have an iPad. And that's kind of like my substitute. I use my Android phone too (Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman). Anyways, back to the topic of Instagram. The main purpose of Instagram is to collect photos of your memories, travels, and basically your whole life experience. So here I am, endorsing my Instagram since I want to share my experiences with you using photos.
This is an Instagram post of my brand new school books, completely untouched. I was really amazed by the books being so thin and light that I decided to post it. I'm an incoming fourth year student by the way! Here I come Senior year.
A photo of food, how very typical of me. You all know how very foodie I am, so the thing you should know about my Instagram is that the majority of my pictures are food. Because of course, I love food so much. I don't like taking pictures of my face much too, so pictures of food are such a great substitute.
Ah, I remember those days. It was approximately 7:06AM at that time and I was at Starbucks waiting for Princess (@ManthonyFrvr), Mariella (@mariellaoctavo), and Mela Sinocruz (@NuteLala) to come arrive and pick me up so we could all enter the Academic Gateway Review class together. It was one of the very first days of my review class. What a throwback.
This was a Instagram repost from @kittensofinstagram, and I was absolutely in love with this kitten. I couldn't help but keep it. Another thing you should know about me is that I absolutely love cats of all kinds (excluding maybe the bald ones) and I would want to adopt one.
This was taken from way back into April, wherein my brother graduated with a medal for having good conduct. I was very proud, but hid it very well. I remember the caption bidding him good luck in high school, discreetly commenting that he would need it.
This cosplay is a adorable, period. I couldn't stop myself from posting it. If you must know I am a huge Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) fan and I love Grell Sutcliff. You might see me posting pictures of him and more in my Instagram
These are my fellow classmates, (left to right) MD (@mdreezy), Mela (@maaarshmelaaa), Vanessa (@NessaUnicruz), me (@grellbear), Rubini (@rubieberr), Eileen (@eileenalcaraz), Kiara (@kiararoa24), Thalia (@ManthonyKlaine), and Silvino (@biancasilvino), from Junior year during the JOG (Junior's Outdoor Gimmick) and this pic was taken while we were making the floating lanterns for the Chemistry round, and it was the very last round. So you can see that we're all very tired from the whole thing, and it wasn't even afternoon yet.
And of course, you all know this picture from my previous post.
Well now you've seen some bits and pieces of my Instagram, why don't you go and check it out? You might like it.

pretty in pink @ 01:25
I have never posted a fashion post in this blog ever, or any in my blogs for that matter. But it seems like fun, posing for the camera and telling strangers about where you brought the dress or the shoes, then somehow they like it as much as you do. So today, I'm gonna do just that. I'm going to show you what I wore during my summer review class yesterday. It's kind of fun, girly, and all around pink.
Look at me, having fun and still looking ridiculous. To be honest, I didn't really want to do this "photoshoot", if you could call it that. But my friend is doing it for her fashion blog so I decided, hey, why not?
My outfit is simple, just a simple baby pink dress and black ribbon flats to match. I would've added jewelry but to be honest, I looked like a working mother. So I decided to let my hair down and have fun with the dress.
Definitely the dress was made for day-wear because of course it's light, fun, and easy-breezy. The dress was made with soft satin and bareback, but I wasn't crazy to leave it like that so I wore a thin black tank top underneath it for safety's sake.
I apologize for the low quality pictures, we were deprived of professional cameras at that time so we stuck to our iPhones and iPads.
What do you think? I honestly thought it was bold of me to do so. But my friend (@mariellaoctavo of
Peculiar Thoughts) was in love with this outfit, and she did it for the sake of blogging - follow her!
So much for a fashion post, huh? Ah well, I have numerous chances to make more.
