Boredom than Nothing @ 19:50
A blog...
My father always told me that when I wanted to improve my writing skills (if I had any) it would be on a blog.
Of course on a blog, you get to say your most amazing experiences from here to there, the most delicious foods in the southern country or something like that. I would totally agree if you told me that bloggers are wanderlust-ers. I think the best part of the blogs are the simple storylines from everyday people like you and me. But then again, I don't really have a simple story line from my everyday life. My life's pretty boring, though to some, it might actually be interesting. I don't know, we all have different perspectives.
This blog, that will hopefully last like an obelisk, will feature a lot of things. I'm just not sure what. You see, I'm an amateur writer. And from all my days of being an amateur writer is that the best part of the story, is the "I don't know's". Totally agreeable, right? I mean, if you envision your summary and your characters beforehand, you will always wonder what would happen next. My weakness as an amateur writer is my writer's block. Sometimes, it's either a good thing or a bad thing. But mostly it's the bad thing right? Sometimes, for me though, my writer's block is one of the best things that may happen to me because I get to think of the next scene further. It's great isn't it? Thinking of an amazing scene waiting to be beautifully written while you imagine the characters in your head do it beforehand.
To me, that is what will happen to this ghost town of a blog. My blog right now is pretty boring, I'm telling you this right now just in case you will face the boredom of my blog.
But things will get, less boring. Hopefully. I'm a dreamer, I admit it. And I dream that this blog will aim higher than high with the corny ideas of having "joke-of-the-day's" and "weekly recipes".
I'll be sure to inform you the newest of the new, and the hippest of the hipsters.
(I can't actually believe that I said that.)
Till next time.
